Kansas City Royals 2nd Baseman, Chris Getz's Time with the Royals:

Does anyone remember when Kansas City Royals 2nd Baseman, Chris Getz, was traded to the Kansas City Royals on November 6, 2009 along with Josh Fields for Mark Teahen. Chris Getz's career to date with the Royals has been filled with injuries. We only saw him play 72 games during the 2010 season due first to a strained oblique muscle, and then later he had a concussion after being hit in the head with a baseball. Oops! Even with his injury history, the Royals signed Getz to another one-year contract on November 30, 2012. Kansas City Royals 2nd Baseman, Chris Getz's base contract for 2013 is for $1.05 million dollars, with additional performance bonuses totalling $150,000. Wish I had his job!
